Festival Themed Wedding Inspiration

WedfestIf you follow me on Instagram you may have spotted that I had the absolute pleasure of attending a dream wedding in Suffolk a couple of weekends ago. Shunning more traditional wedding concepts, the bride and groom chose to host a festival inspired ceremony - Wedfest!Wedding VW camper Wedding festivalComplete with wedding invite ticket, ceremony itinerary pass, WEDFEST giant lettering, and a line up of not one, not two, but three bands! Set in the most idyllic of wedding venues in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, the bridal party did a fantastic job of decorating the venue. The marquee and surrounding grounds were dotted with brightly coloured paper flowers and bunting, and there were photo opportunities at every corner. Mirrors hung all over the venue, covered in lyrics from the bride and groom's favourite songs, and a glitter station and glow in the dark wristbands, allowed guests to rave into the evening.Wedding guest dress Wedding inspo Wedding inspoHaving no plans to attend a festival this year, it was great to attend a wedding with this vibe. Especially as I first met the bride and groom on a night out many moons ago, and have since attended many gigs and festivals with them over the years.Of course, no festival would be complete without a spot of camping, so a few of us stayed at a nearby campsite for the evening. Rolling into our tents after all the festivities reminded me of special moments at Glastonbury, where we all spent 5 wonderful days with each other.Festival with Vauxhall Vauxhall hire carThe only aspect we were concerned about was how to get to and from the wedding. Being Londoners, we no longer own a car and it can be tricky getting to countryside weddings via public transport. Luckily Vauxhall came to our rescue, offering us a Crossland X for the weekend. This compact SUV was the perfect mode of transport to take us from the city to the country.Vauxhall Crossland X Vauxhall Crossland XLoaded up with all of our camping gear, our wedding guest dresses and the boy's suits, we made our way  up to Suffolk in style. Having not owned a car for a while, and certainly not one as modern as this, it was great to sit back and enjoy all the mod-cons the Crossland X has to offer. From in-built satellite navigation to a wireless phone charging port and Android Auto (allowing us to play Spotify), the Crossland X had all of the basics covered. Not only this but the car has a range of in-built alerts, helping you to drive safely, including - wing mirror sensors, highlighting when a car is in your blind spot, panoramic rear view camera, helping you to park, plus sound alerts when you cross the middle white line without indicating and driver's side display highlighting the speed limit and what speed you're driving at. It's safe to say Stew had a lot of fun driving it to the wedding and back!WedFest
