Coogee to Bondi coastal walk, Sydney, Australia

I really wish my parents were still here, we got up to so many fun things the other week when they were visiting. Like walking the coastal path from Coogee to Bondi. We did it last year but I managed to delete all the photos off my camera so this time I got snap happy once more and here they are...

Along the walk you see many beautiful bays, white sand beaches, brilliant blue waters and fantastic views both in land and out to see. From Coogee you walk past Gordon's Bay, Clovelly, Waverley, Bronte, Tamarama and finally Bondi. It only takes a couple of hours and the walk itself is really easy.

After a lovely afternoon soaking up the rays, getting some exercise and Dad getting way too excited to paddle his feet in the water at Bondi beach, we ended up in Darling Harbour for dinner. Every Saturday at 8.30pm they set off a brilliant firework display right in the middle of the harbour. It's a huge tourist attraction but really fun all the same. We had dinner at Olivio, a nice Italian restaurant where the food was a lot better than expected. They had a deal on and deals are never normally good for quality but we were pleasantly surprised. My parents were staying at the Ibis in Darling Harbour so we ended up eating there on a few occasions but normally I would suggest avoiding the restaurants there as the food is way more expensive than anywhere else. They cash in on the tourists and you can expect to pay an extra $10-$15 per meal.
