It’s been a while since I last posted an outfit post, and I’ve kinda missed it! Over the last year my blog has grown into a food and lifestyle blog, encapsulating dishes I create, homewares I buy and events that I attend. However, before this my blog was primarily a fashion blog. That’s what it grew from, and I still enjoy clothes and fashion. I still buy just as much clothing as I did before, I guess I just forget to document my outfits these days.
So creating this post for Ted Baker was lots of fun and brought back memories of making my boyfriend, and sometimes even my Dad, go out with me and take photos for me. Luckily with it now being spring, there are lots of nice streets around where we live, lined with blossom trees – the perfect backdrop for photos. I found this stunning deep pink and bright red plant trailing across a neighbours wall and decided to stop to take my snaps in front of it.
The flowers that had grown too heavy and fell to the pavement, made a lovely juxtaposition with my black monk shoes by Ted Baker. I love the contract in colour and texture.
These Naoi monk shoes are brilliantly shiny black leather, with a contrasting suede ankle, pointed toe and gold buckle details. They’re a very ‘me’ shoe. 99% of my shoe collection is black and I also have a pair of black loafers with gold details. But I’ve never owned shoes quite like these with their sharp toe and glossy look.
Ted Baker shoes are made with love, with inscribing on the sole made from 100% real leather. They’re wonderfully comfortable, make a statement and hopefully will last for many years to come.
