If you’ve been into Primark recently, you may have noticed their awesome range of high neck knits. I’m a bit of a high neck fan. Who am I kidding? It’s literally the only neckline I wear these days, and Primark have some great pieces in this season. This grey ribbed number that I’m wearing is just £6 too, so they’re super affordable. So much so, you could buy one in every colour!
I also picked up a black and white striped version, and want to go back in for the navy, mustard and wine coloured ones. (Insert monkey covering his eyes emoji) haha!
Seriously though, Primark always has a great Autumn/Winter offering every year. It’s this time of year when the pennies are tight, and yet you’re in need of some extra layers on the cold wintery days. Cue Primark! I’m normally put off attempting to rummage through their Oxford Street store, but for this top, I even ventured in on my lunch break, battling the crowds, desperately searching for that light blue size 10 tag!
Also featured in this outfit are a few new jewellery bits I picked up in Topshop recently. This link/chain necklace also comes in silver and rose gold, which I was tempted by, but I really wanted some jewellery that would compliment my Olivia Burton watch. The rings were part of a set of 5. I think they were all intended to be midi rings, but my fingers are so tiny that the size small/medium fits me perfectly! I love ring sets like these, where you can mix and match. I really want to invest in a few more, and they’re so affordable it doesn’t really matter if they get tarnished in a few months.
Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend. I’ve had a few rather busy and stressful weeks at work recently, and have spent every weekend either visiting friends or having friends come stay with us. So this weekend has been the first in I think 4 or 5, that me and Stew have both been home and have had no plans. It’s been bliss!! The run up to Christmas is looking as busy as ever too, so I’m going to try and enjoy every second I get with him at the moment, as it looks like we won’t be seeing much of each other in December.
