You may remember that earlier in the year I reviewed this beautiful Etched Peony bed set by Christy. A few months on, and in a new home, I thought I’d post a follow up to show the fantastic quality of Christy bedlinen.
The Etched Peony duvet cover, and matching pillowcases, is a lovely light grey design with soft, subtle illustrations. Its neutral colour palette has meant it has been easy to match with other homewares, and fits perfectly into our new white bedroom.
The material itself has washed well with no sign of damage or colour loss. We’ve even washed the small velvet cushion, as Stew has a habit of falling asleep on it! I washed this one inside out on a cool wash as I was a little worried that I might shrink it, or something else equally disastrous. However, it came out of the washing machine perfectly, and I needn’t have worried.
We really need to invest in an ironing board though, as I find the bedlinen comes out of the machine very creased. As does our other bed sets too. Currently I have resulted to ironing on top of our chest of drawers with a towel underneath, but this is extremely tricky with the duvet cover!
So far, every guest we’ve had stay, we’ve put on this bedding as it’s our prettiest option. And all friends and family have commented on how soft and sumptuous it is, and ultimately what a good nights sleep they each had 🙂
Have you bought from Christy before? Do you own any of their bedding?
