Kerastase shampoo and conditioner, Kerastase Bain Cristal
Kerastase Cristalliste shampoo and conditioner – Perfume’s Club*

A few months ago my hairdresser housemate at the time, recommended I start using a more professional shampoo and conditioner. Not being particularly aware of beauty treatments in general, I have always opted for the cheapest option in hair care. However, as she explained the jump in price between your average shop bought brand, and a salon professional brand is down to the science and research that goes into the product. Extra steps are put into the formulas of these shampoos and conditioners, making your hair feel that much glossier and healthier when you visit a salon.
That being said, I proceeded to try a Kerastase shampoo that she recommend. Over the past couple of months I have seen a change in my hair, going from dry and often flaky, to more bouncy, thicker and shinier. When Perfume’s Club got in touch recently I jumped at the chance to use another Kerastase product, this time opting for their Cristalliste shampoo and conditioner.

The Lait Cristal conditioner is perfect for long hair. I have seen a real difference in the texture of my hair. Although it is still split in places from using straighteners, it’s a lot softer and smoother. It is also a lot easier to detangle after washing, and is silicone, paraben and colourant free.

The Kerastase Bain Cristal shampoo is perfect for thick hair like mine. Also being silicone, paraben and colourant free, it gives hair a luminous shine. I now always make sure to massage into my hair in soft circular motions, rather than scratching at my scalp, and reapply after rinsing. I find this lathers up much better, and leaves my hair feeling much more invigorated.

I will never claim to be a beauty blogger, but Kerastase’s shampoo and conditioning products have made such a difference to my hair, I felt it was appropriate to shout about! It’s definitely worth the extra money, and they still last just as long as your regular brands, if not longer. So it’s a great investment. When you consider how much we spend on make-up, hair care is actually not that highly priced, and our scalp is the same skin as our face! When I think of that I’m ashamed at how badly I’ve treated my scalp, with cheap awful products. Fingers crossed I will see longer lasting effects now by continuing with these products from Perfume’s Club.
