Last weekend I had a morning of pampering at Tila Studio in West Hampstead. The lovely team at Wahanda offered me the chance of reviewing their app and my hair was in need of a spruce! The app itself is super easy to use, and really helpful. You simply create a log in and search for what you need – whether it’s a hair appointment, a spa treatment, a manicure, pedicure etc. You can also tailor the search to location, to find the closest to you, and can filter the listings to see the best reviewed. Each salon on Wahanda not only has a star rating (out of 5) but also customer reviews, so you can see what people thought of their experiences.
I firstly chose Tila Studio because West Hampstead was the closest place to where we live, and out of the salons listed, it had the best star rating, and over 80 reviews. Which is always reassuring. If you know exactly what you want to book in for, you can also search by price. I knew I wanted balayagé, but Tila Studio also offer a range of makeup and nail treatments.
Tila herself did my hair for me and I was so happy with the outcome. From start to finish Tila was attentive, friendly and did exactly what I asked for. I was unhappy with my ombré as it had become very brassy, and two tone. It didn’t look too bad when I had curled it, but I felt it looked very blocky, when it was straightened.
I asked Tila to pull more brunette through the lower half of my hair, creating a more natural looking balayagé.
You can see from the before and after shots of what a good job she did. She also gave me the most amazing blow dry! I now know why women pay to just have blow drys. It’s the best my hair has ever felt, and looked amazing. If only I could have that done everyday!
Thank you Tila, and special thanks to Wahanda for my morning of pampering. I would highly recommend their app. If like me, you don’t go to the same salon regularly, or you have moved to a new city and don’t know where to try, Wahanda is a great help.
