Stew and I spent bank holiday Monday catching up with a good friend of mine over brunch at The Breakfast Club. On route to the tube stop I spotted a lovely cluster of blossom trees. Out came the camera for a quick photo pit stop as I thought it was the perfect backdrop for my new, whimsical, polka dot, midi dress from Sugarhill Boutique.
This lovely dress features an elasticated, high waist, with a thin, tan belt, giving it the perfect shape. It’s short cap sleeves, mean it’s also a great style for anyone who prefers to keep their arms a little covered, like myself. I chose a size 8/XS and it still has a little room which is ideal with a high waist… plenty of room to squeeze lots of The Breakfast Club goodness in. Haha!
Speaking of which, I failed to try their famous pancakes, but did eat their chilli and lime avo on rye, with a poached egg and side of bacon. And I can vouch that it tasted superb. I’ve heard mixed reviews about this cafe, but I was pleased with my choice. Although with a 30minute queue, I’m not sure how soon I’ll be back, as it is a little over hyped. Plus there are so many brunch spots to try in London, that it’s hard to justify revisiting the same one.
