I haven’t ever posted a ‘What’s In My Bag?’ article before, but recently I received the most beautiful Coach designer handbag, and so I thought that this type of post would be a rather fitting way to show it off.
The Coach Rogue handbag is made from a beautiful glovetanned leather. In this instance the outer leather is of an olive green colour and the inner lining is made from a navy blue suede material. The attention to detail and the quality of materials used, is second to none. It’s really rather stunning and it also happens to be the perfect size for all my everyday bits and pieces that I store in my handbag. With adjustable straps I’m able to carry it in the hand, on the shoulder or across the body, making it perfectly versatile for work days when I have my laptop or lunch box inside, meaning it’s heavier to carry.
My everyday essentials though always include the latest book that I’m reading. Although I have a Kindle I still prefer to read paperbacks and ever since having my phone stolen on the tube, I’m still not comfortable to have my phone out in public, so I choose to read instead. I’ve found this has been much more beneficial to my general health and motivation in the morning too. I am more enthusiastic to start the day after reading a chapter or two during my commute, rather than having my head stuck in my phone browsing social media!
I also always make sure I have both an umbrella and a pair of sunglasses in my handbag, as you never know what the weather might do in London! I’ve had too many friends get caught out without an umbrella on them. I also tend to pack my perfume, if I’m heading out for dinner or to an event after work, and likewise with my camera. I’m never too far away from my Topshop gold hoop earrings and my Abbott Lyon matching watch. Most days I will also pack my Estée Lauder foundation and powder to top up in the afternoon, especially if I’m going out.
Otherwise that’s about it, other than my lunch and purse of course.
