Although it might be winter, there hasn’t been a better time to invest in a pair of sunglasses than on those cold wintry, yet sunny days. When the sun is low in the sky all day, it’s imperative to carry round a pair of sunglasses in your bag at all times. Especially if you’re a massive squinter like me!
This pair of retro, round sunglasses from Ray-Ban are the latest addition to my ever increasing shelf of sunnies, I’m a little bias when it comes to sunglasses, having only ever owned Ray-Ban, in terms of designer brands. I’ve previously reviewed their classic wayfarer style, however this round frame is new for me. I feel a lot more adventurous with my new, shorter hair cut… I would even go as far as using the word sassy! And with that comes a more daring me. I previously though that round framed sunglasses didn’t suit my face shape, but had always admired their vintage feel. Now, with shorter length hair, I feel they do just the opposite, and now compliment my face shape.
What do you think of this style? I particularly love the tortoise coloured frames, with the gold bridge detailing. The arms are a lot thinner than my other pairs of Ray-Ban’s, and are therefore more flexible, which has taken a little getting used to.
Sunglasses Shop stock a huge range of Ray-Ban styles, plus many other designers including Dior, Chanel and Miu Miu. They also have a wonderful gift guide page on site if you’re finding it hard to choose a pair, either for yourself or for a loved one. Here they show popular designs by different brands – something for everyone!
