I was sent this fun Konad nail art stamping kit a few weeks ago and couldn't wait to test it out. I have previously used konad before but it had never worked that well. I've figure out that's probably because I bought the plate and stamp off of eBay and never ordered the konad nail polish, choosing to use my own instead.
I've since read in many review that for it to work best you really do need to use the konad branded polishes, I don't know what they put in them exactly but I got on a lot better this time.
As part of the set I was given this cute casino plate from Ladbrokes Casino to try out. I tried all the styles before settling on and finding the 'Bar Bar Bar' icon the easiest to use. The more detailed pictures were a lot harder to get to come out so well.
I think maybe because I used white on top of black polish was why it was harder as it stands out so much more. But even so I loved this cute idea and loved the online slot games pictures. Reminds me of my time in Vegas playing on the machines with dollar bills! Not that I'm any good at gambling but it was fun all the same :)
This konad plate will be perfect for adding finishing touches to any fancy dress outfit of this style.
I've also really enjoyed having the Soap and Glory set as an added extra. It's perfect for looking after your hands, especially if you change your nail polish every other day like myself. You end up with rather dry finger tips and sometimes sore so this Perfect Manicure set has been great.

Wow, Kim this looks awesome! I've never heard of this before but I love it, I'm rubbish at nail art but could probably manage this ;)

I love konad! I do own some kondad polishes, but I've found normal polishes work fine as long as they are quite thick - loads of models own polishes are great for konad :) xx
