So with the start of a new year comes a whole host of new trends to start frantically buying into! I always like to pretend I’m not so easily swayed by magazines and the internet, who am I kidding?!

There’s some crazy trends coming up this year, from snakeskin to holographic materials, and even neon is making a mini comeback over summer! I’ll probably be the first to say I’m definitely never wearing anything snakeskin, but I bet I do! 

A lot of Eastern influences are appearing on the catwalks for 2013, so I thought the floral pattern in this dress and the cute little fan necklace were perfect to try it out without going overboard! Floral is obviously going to be popular as soon as the weather picks up (if it ever does that is!) so the pretty floral camera necklace made it onto the wishlist too – leather and gold seem to remain stylish for the foreseeable future, which is fine by me because I love them both so much! I love this leather backpack!!

I really want a backpack. There are a lot more 90’s influences being predicted for 2013, so next on the checklist will probably be lots of graphic prints, minimalist tailoring and Nirvana-inspired grunge – a lot of contradictions there but it’ll be fun trying them out over the next few months!
