Pugs For Life

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

Cannot wait until me and the boy have one of these, eee! So excited. My fascination with Pugs is getting a little out of hand. I want cushions, t shirts, anything Pug related, in my life!!
So when this beautiful day comes and I get my baby Pug. I then would like a Staffy! Gotta have his and hers :) Saw a gorgeous Staffy in Bristol the other day. They're such loyal, affectionate dogs. It's a shame they've got a bad rep just because of their owners. After seeing the cutest one ever, I then saw another in Bristol city centre on a metal chain with a shaved headed, tattooed up chav at the other end. UGH. Typical stereotype.
Staffies are in fact very quiet, trust worthy dogs, and have a great affinity for children. They have been dubbed 'Nanny Dogs' in England because of how good they are with young children.

But anyway, the day I have a house and a Pug and a Staffy is going to be the best day of my life.

Animal Magnetism

Since graduating University in June I've been around Europe with two friends for a month and now I'm home and realise I have nothing to do. Currently looking for a full time job, life is rather boring. Don't get me wrong it's been great to see friends and the boyfriend a lot more, but I've been feeling a little lost when at home by myself. So I've started painting my nails?!

Years ago I got a kit for christmas and used to spend my time practicing on others, but that was when I was young and I soon got bored. However I've noticed a growing trend in false nails along with decorating real ones, and so with all this extra time on my hands I've decided to spend it doing something...arty?! Hmm my lectures probably wouldn't see it as very productive but it keeps me happy and passes half an hour.

I find false nails never fit my nails properly as my nails are naturally long anyway and its time, effort and money that I don't have. There's a lot more satisfaction in decorating your own.

This was my first attempt, the photos were taken a few days later hence some chipping. I used Sparkle and Fade by Urban Outfitters in Peach, Barry M in Berry Ice-cream for the inside dots, and my trusty liquid eye liner for the black.

I'm currently waiting on some goodies from eBay including a set of gel nail brushes so I can do some more interesting things. And I've recently bought a few Rimmel nail polishes (all Rimmel cosmetics are 3 for 2 in Boots) in Lemon Drop and Purple Reign which I still need to try out.

I've gotta say my fave nail polishes have to be by Barry M, I find they last so long without chipping and come in some great colours. And the best benefit is that they are really cheap!

I saw a nail polish post on the Topshop Blog a few months a go, and one set of nails were done in a gorgeous mushroom colour yet Topshop don't stock it?! If anyone's seen that colour in another brand please let me know!

Shoesies

Bought these beautys in Bristol on Monday. It seems that whenever I have money I'm tight with spending and then when I'm absolutely skint I go on a shopping spree. I like to blame it on my boyfriend, he's a bad influence on me. I'm usually so careful with money but some things just cannot be missed, such as these shoes. After already spending close to £100, I had totally forgot that River Island has an amazing sale on at the moment. With 50 - 70% off everything and a further 25% off now, they really are selling everything for pennies. Sadly though the state of the shop was less desirable, with girls obviously going mad for the sale, it looked just like a jumble sale! Most bargains were scattered all over the floor, and sizes were impossible to find. So I gave up...not before visiting the shoe section though. There was less chaos and lots of size 5's left which was surprising. So I just had to have a peek. And I'm sooo glad I did because I found these beautys for only £25, reduced from £50. And then with an extra 25% off they were only £18.75!

Now I just need somewhere to wear them..

blogger?

So after creating a wordpress and a tumblr, I have now decided on a blogger. ahhh!
I find wordpress too hard to use, it's easy to post but is hard to make it look good. And I don't know too many people that use it, so that doesn't really make it beneficial.
I've like tumblr and I like the design on my blog (sweetmonday.tumblr.com) but it seems more of a posting photos and media blog than anything else. Like most girls, I like to talk, so I've now decided upon trying out a blogspot, or now a 'blogger' as it's known.
